The Barton Clinic in Gothenburg 29-31 August 2025
The theme of this year’s The Barton Clinic is ”The Evolution of the game”. We will address player development, the teaching of skills, and their use in game like situations. We also want to discuss leadership philosophies, group dynamics and also communication between coach and player. We will also talk about creating a practice atmosphere that is conducive to learning and at the same time, encouraging participation in the learning process. In coordination with The Swedish Basketball Federation’s new 4 on 4 rule for youth we will also show drills and discuss the positive aspects of this style of play.
The Charles Barton Classic
This summer we will have our second international preseason tournament as part of The Barton Clinic. We are extremely exited to add this type of event to The Barton Clinic. Participating teams are Norrköping Dolphins and Borås Basket from Sweden, Bakken Bears from Denmark and GTK Gliwice from Poland!
